About Longing for Home
Longing for Home is a fictional farm that was created for a Graphic Design senior thesis project. The farm is designed to serve as a domestic animal rescue, rehabilitation and adoption center. Our staff and volunteers strive to provide a sanctuary like environment for any and all dogs and farm animals who have been abused, neglected and in desperate need of help, until they find their forever homes.
Situated on 130 acres of land in Millstone, New Jersey, Longing for Home allows for all of our rescues to have extensive area to roam free and interact with you, our staff and each other. Longing for Home is a non-profit organization of sorts, taking any and all profits that we receive and circling it back into the farm for the benefit of the rescues. Help us help the animals by checking out our pet supply store and the various services we offer on the farm.

About the Designer
MADISON BALLISTER
Web and Graphic Designer
What started as a joke and a semi-serious after college business plan with friends, turned into the perfect thesis project. My inspiration for Longing for Home stems from the work that Tia Torres and the Pitbulls and Parolees family does, coupled with my unrealistic dreams of one day owning a farm for my own personal rescues. Anyone who knows me, knows I have a huge soft spot for animals, and if I could adopt all of the animals in the world, I would.
As a web and graphic designer, I focus on fun and creativity. I pride myself on clean, modern designs, and working tirelessly to make sure every project is the best it can be. I love a good challenge, learning new skills and value a strong work ethic.
